During race events, if you bring family and friends and they feel like getting away for awhile, there is The Beeline Trolley that runs through Winthrop Harbor and Zion. (Click for stops and times). They pick up and drop off right here in our parking lot so there is no long distance walking or driving to get to it. We are also about 20 minutes from Gurnee Mills Shopping Mall. (This you will have to drive to).
There are also plenty of places to eat. (Dine in, Take out, and Delivery.)
Droopy's and Bob & Ann's just across the parking lot. Within a mile there is also, The Other Place Pizza, The Lighthouse (Bar and Grill), Stone Creek Grill, McDonalds, Taco Bell, Applebee's, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Starlite, Subway, Pizza House, Culvers, Burger King and Wendys.
